TWO DUNEDIN GIRLS ESCAPE INTO BUSH
THREE WEEKS’ PICNIC
Press Association. DUNEDIN, To-day. Two girls, aged 16 years, escaped from an industrial school three weeks ago, taking to the bush at Purakanui. After an exhaustive search they were located by the police on Saturday in a crib near Waitati. One was dressed in male attire ana neither showed any trace of having enjoyed their extended picnic. Thev appeared in the Police Court this morning charged with being idle and disorderly and were remanded to Wednesday.
