EVERYBODY’S
“THE CLINGING VINE”
Can a man love a girl who is cleverer than himself? Opinions may differ on this subject, but it provides the theme for Beatrice Joy’s new star picture, “The Clinging Vine,” which is the chief attraction at Everybody’s Theatre. However, the clever girl portrayed by Miss Joy finds that while she is super-efficient in business, she has much to learn about the romance of love. Her education is completed by Tom Moore, who plays the masculine lead.
The metamorphosis of Miss Joy from a mannish, executive business girl into a romantic “clinging vine” provides material for an excellent plot. Robert Edeson, Toby Claude, Dell Henderson and Snitz Edwards are included in Miss Joy’s supporting cast.
