Valois, Auckland manager for Exhibitors’ Alliance Films, returned from the South this morning. His Honour Mr. Justice Herdman returned to Auckland by the first express this morning. Mr. C. H. Worthington, editor of the Rotorua “Chronicle,” arrived in Auckland this morning. Colonel R. Tracy Inglis, Director of Medical Services, returned to Auckland by the Limited this morning. The Hon. J. A. Minister of Health, arived in Hamilton from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr. Stewart Reid, M.P.. Mr. M. J. Savage, M.P., and Mr. A. Harris, M.P., arrived from Wellington this morning. Colonel-Commandant H. R. Potter, C. officer commanding the Northern Command, returned to Auckland this morning. Lieut.-Colonel F. Symon, C.M.G., D. Director of Artillery, arrived from the South by the Limited this morning. The Rev. W. S. C. Stephens, who has been appointed curate at St. Mary’s, New Plymouth, arrived from London on Wednesday by the RuapehuProfessor H. W. Segar and Professor F- P. Worley will represent the Auckland Institute on the Board of Governors of the New Zealand Institute. Mr. S. S. Dean, manager of the Wellington branch of the South British Insurance Company, will leave by the Aorangi on a health-recruiting trip to Honolulu. Messrs. E. J.
