Colonel-Commandant H. R. Potter, C. officer commanding the Northern Command, returned to Auckland this morning. Lieut.-Colonel F. Symon, C.M.G., D. Director of Artillery, arrived from the South by the Limited this morning. The Rev. W. S. C. Stephens, who has been appointed curate at St. Mary’s, New Plymouth, arrived from London on Wednesday by the RuapehuProfessor H. W. Segar and Professor F- P. Worley will represent the Auckland Institute on the Board of Governors of the New Zealand Institute. Mr. S. S. Dean, manager of the Wellington branch of the South British Insurance Company, will leave by the Aorangi on a health-recruiting trip to Honolulu. Messrs. E. J.
