Alfred Buckland and Sons, Ltd., report having held sales at "Waiotira and Maungakaramea on Thursday and Friday respectively, the yardings being smaller than the previous month and competition generally was not keen. Dairy cows and heifers realised from £5 to £9 10s; fat cows, £4 15s to £7; fat steers, £7 10s to £9; store cows, £3 10s to £3 15s; 3 to 4-year steers, £5 to £6 ss; 2 to 3-year steers, £3 15s to £4 12s 6d; yearling to 18-months steers, £2 5s to £3 7s 6d; yearling grade Jersey heifers, £3 15s to £4 12s 6d; other heifers, £2 to £3; bulls, £3 to £5 10s.
