PLUMBERS’ DISPUTE

AGREEMENT REACHED A complete agreement, mainly on the lines of the present Dominion award, was reached to-day by a Conciliation Council in the Auckland Plumbers’ and Gasfitters’ dispute. The council began on Wednesday at the office of the Conciliation Commissioner, Mr. P. Hally. The union, which was the applicant, was represented by Messrs. G. Whitley, J. Clark and J. S. Klattery. The employers’ assessors *ere Messrs. W. J. Cross, F. V. Hoffman and W. s. Fisher. Mr. S. E. Wright. secretary for the Employers’ Association, appeared as agent for the employers.
