TAURANGA HOSPITAL

SATISFACTORY REPORT

The Director-General of Hospitals, Dr. T. Valintine, has informed the Tau- , ranga Plospital Board that he will visit | the district at an early date. The report showed that between Te Puke and Tauranga hospitals 67i per cent, of fees were collected. The committee set up to inquire into the administration | of the hospital reported that methods j compared favourably with other insti- j tutions in New Zealand. As a result . the board passed a vote of thanks to the staff for their work. The hospital farm scheme is now in operation.
