SEVEN GOOD WRITERS

POINT CHEVALIER SCHOOL RECORD

ALL-NEW ZEALAND CONTEST

In these days of undecipherable handwriting, the record of seven children in one school winning prizes in an “all New Zealand” handwriting competition sounds unbeatable.

Eight prizes for handwriting in the British and Colonial Handwriting competition have gone to the Point Chevalier School pupils. Last year the school was among the prize winners, Robert Hogan, who topped the marks in open division, taking first and second prize in the same division this year. Other winners this year were:—First division, Lloyd Meyer 1, Victor Storey 4. Second division, Cecilie Clayton 3, Margaret Newald 2, Joan Tibbets 4. Fourth division, Joan Stradwick 2.
