In connection with tlie gigantic fair to be held to raise funds to build a club for boys and girls of Freeman’s Bay, a Eureka New World Gas Cooker valued at £lB has been donated for a competition and is to be awarded to the person who exhibits the best cake cooked in a gas oven, for which an entry fee of Is is to be charged, the cakes exhibited to be donated to the fair.
