COURSE FOR NURSES AT AUCKLAND VARSITY

PROPOSAL TO BE DISCUSSED When the Director-General of Health, Dr. T. H. A. Valintine, visits Auckland in a few weeks’ time he will discuss the proposal to establish a postgraduate course for nurses at the Auckland University. At a meeting of the University College Council yesterday, a letter was received from the Director-General of Health, stating that he would confer with members of the council. Mr. W. Wallace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, will attend the conference. The chairman, the Hon. George Fowlds and Dr. Kenneth Mackenzie were appointed by the council to consider the proposal with Dr. Valintine and Mr. Wallace.
