MASSEY MEMORIAL

DESIGN FINALLY APPROVED (THE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Prime Minister has announced that the design of the Massey Memorial at Point Halswell has been finally approved, and that the report of Mr. Hurst Seager, consulting architect, with illustrations and detailed description of the memorial, will be published for general information to-morrow. The Prime Minister further has intimated that the Massey Memorial Board has approved the use of white marble from a part of the Takaka quarries which has not previously been opened up, and which has been most favourably reported upon by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.
