N.Z. MARKSMEN IN SYDNEY PLEASED WITH EFFORTS By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright SYDNEY, Monday. The captain of the New Zealand rifle team, Masefield, says the first few days of heavy mirages and heat in Sydney troubled the team, but when they became used to the heat they adapted themselves to shoot quickly under the changing conditions, and improved considerably. The members of the team are particularly pleased with their efforts in the King's Prize and Commonwealth matches. The National Rifle Association was untiring in its efforts to entertain the team, and gave them a wonderful time.
