A. AND P. SOCIETY DANCE
FUNCTION AT ROTORUA The Rotorua A. and P. Association's annual social and dance was held on October 11 in the Peerless Hall, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. About 150 couples were present. The “K” Boys’ Orchestra was in its usual good form and encores were the order of the evening. A dainty supper was provided by the women’s committee, Mrs. D. Steele and Mrs. E. Armer being the convenors, and special thanks are due to all the workers. Seventeen tables were occupied for the five hundred tournament, the prize winners being Mrs. Brothers, Mrs. Wilmott, Mr. E. Burn and Mr. E. Anner The Monte Carlo fox trot was won by Miss McCracken and Mr. E. Dal beth. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Fairlie and Mr. Norman. Mr. Bowling, the president, thanked all for their attendance and presented the prizes to the winners. Bancing was kept up until the early hours of the morning.
