GOOD FOR BUSINESS

GIFT OF ELECTRIC KETTLE “Keeping an eye to business,” should be the Waitemata Power Board’s motto. Asking for a special prize or a donation; the ITelensville Agricultural and Pastoral Association was awarded an electric kettle to be given as a prize at the January show. The idea originated with Mr. H. A. Robertson. Mr. J. W. Hayden, chairman, pointed out that the request opened up the general question of giving donations. It was not a question of whether the Helensville A. and P. Association was more or less deserving. The board however might be faced with five or six requests at each meeting.
