NEW LOAN FOR AUSTRIA
ISSUE OF £21,000,000 NATION’S RECOVERY British Wireless—Press Assn.—Copyright RUGBY. Thursday. The committee of the guarantor States of the Austrian construction loan decided at a meeting in London yesterday to give Austria authority to raise a loan for productive purposes up to about £21,000,000. The objects for which this loan may be used are to increase the electrification and other developments of the State railways, the provision of underground cables and improvements in the postal and telegraph services. Gratifying statistics showing the recovery cf Austria were cited. —A. and N.Z. ’
