SIX SUN READERS COMPENSATED Several additional claims under THE SUN Free Insurance Scheme have been finalised this week, and compensation has been paid in the following cases:— Henry Hastings Melior, accountant, 11 Victoria Avenue, Mount Eden, was knocked down by a motor-truck in Dominion Road on September 29, and was seriously injured. Cheque for £lO paid over. Albert W. Burford, of Waitomo Avenue, Dominion Road, broke a leg at football on October 1; £lO compensation allowed. Thomas J. Franklin, of IS Avon Street, Parnell, injured at football on October 1; £lO compensation allowed. E. J. MacDonald, clerk, of Hikurangi, injured at football on October 1: £lO compensation allowed. E. H. Roberts, Pupuke Road, Birkenhead, injured in bicycle accident on September 22; £3 compensation allowed. Ethel Maud Barrett, domestic duties, Fernieigh Avenue, injured while alighting from tram; £2 10s compensation allowed. These cases further illustrate the practical value and liberality of THE SUN’S great free insurance offer.
