HEALTHY BUSINESS RECORDED MINING ACTIVE The bright tone registered on the ’Change over the last few days continues. Healthy business is reported in most sections. Banks continue In good tone, with Commercials improved to see sales at 2Ss 2d. In coals, Hikurangis register an easing tendency. Woollens and timbers are weak and idle. Mining is active. Occidentals have improved, to see a sale of contributing shares at Is 6d. In miscellaneous, Sanfords are receiving attention on a firm market around 20s Sd.
