VICTORIA LEAGUE

The Victoria League Sub-Commit-tee gave a most enjoyable concert at the Evelyn Firth Home on Tuesday evening. A feature of the entertainment was a modern dance, in which the following girls took part: The Misses Tancred, Aickin, M'oir, Cerruty, Prosser, Shepherd, Fenton and Ballantyne; also a gavotte by the Misses Rathbone, Rainger, Emanuel and De R.enzy. Songs were given by the Misses Kaire and Richardson. Miss Adkin contributed sketches, Miss Jourdain recitations, and Miss Mobberly musical monologues. Miss Langford gave a piano solo, and a selection of ragtime brought the concert to a close. Mr. Perdun, on behalf of the patients, thanked the girls for their enjoyable concert.
