According to the Board of Traile returns, imports into Great Britain during September were valued at £101,405,000 a decrease of £309,000 compared with September, 1926. Exports of produce anc manufactures of the United Kingdom increased by £9,807,000 to £60,487,000 while re-exports of imported merchan dise decreased by £29,000 to £8,054,000 Imports of coal were lower bs £7,730,000, while increases are shown ir imports of grain and flour, by £1,292,000 ""n-dudable food and drink, bj Hho? i’oOO* ail< * and timber bj Exports of coal were greater bt £3,576,000 than in September. 1926. Ex’ ports of iron and steel and manufactures thereof increased by £2,672,000 A. and N.Z.
