PARTNERS DISAGREE

TAILORING BUSINESS MISMANAGEMENT ALLEGED The sequel to a partnership in an Auckland tailoring business was heard at the Supreme Court to-day when William Henry Craig (Mr. Glaisterr) brought an action against Sydney George Pudney (Mr. Dickson), to recover £7lO 17s under the guarantee in respect of a mortgage. Defendant denied that the money was owing, and said that it was a partnership between himself an plaintiff. He added that plaintiff’s son was employed in the business, and that plaintiff was responsible for his son’s neglect in its management. After hearing evidence, Mr. Justice Stringer held that accounts must proceed on the basis that the father was responsible for the son’s 'actions. His Honour also held that Pudney’s share was only one-third.

He ordered the taking of accounts by a public accountant.
