North Shore Expansion.—The Xorthccte Borough Council last night decided to make a grant of £7 lOs to the funds of the North Shore Expansion League.

Northcote Water.—The waterworks engineer reported to the Northcote Borough Council last night that 2,475,625 gallons of water had been pumped during the month.

Pedigree Jersey Sale.—The entries for the Te Awamutu Jersey Breeders’ Association pedigree bull sale total over 100. Well-bred animals from the principal district breeders are being offered and it is hoped to make the sale a permanent fixture.
