PAPATOETOE ROADS
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS At the last meeting of the Papatoetoe Town Board, Mr. McGowan asked for easement on the roading requirements r > an connection with the subdivision of - his property on Station Road. The e matter was referred to the works committee, who inspected the property yesterday in company with the engineer, and last night decided, that e Ashlynne Avenue be hancl-packed from _ Station Road with approved hard e scoria, six miles of metal, that _ (day be substituted for a cushion of s scoria, and the work be properly rolled t. and inspected before the final five . Inches of metal and two inches of _ scoria is spread, and that the footpaths be tarred and shelled for six feet 5, tin lieu of eight, and the kerbing on the n top side of the road be deleted. In _ Gordon Road it was decided that six _ inches of approved scoria blended with clay and covered by five inches of metal and two inches of scoria be approved.
