DEATHS AT OPOTIKI
TWO OLD RESIDENTS (From Our Otcn Corre»pon>ient) OPOTIKI, To-day Th© death occurred last night of Mrs. Margaret Hogg, wife of Mr. H. R. Hogg, chairman of the Bay of Plenty Power chairman of the Hospital Board, and chairman of the Opotiki Dairy Assocition. Deceased was in her 65th year. The late Mrs. Hogg has resided ir Opotiki district 44 years. Throughout her long residence in this district, Mrs. Hogg took keen interest in public: affairs, acting as hostess at most of the* public functions. Deceased had been ill for some time prior to her death. She is sur ivecl by her husband, three daughter* and on© son. The eldest daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Francis, resides at th© second, Mrs. E. Rupert Mort 1, in Auckland; and the third, Mrs. H. 'eader, in Hamilton. The eldest soi Idward, was killed in action in the »at War. Th© funeral takes place to-mo v. Another old resident of the di ; - ct, Mr. John Jarvis, died in Opotiki pital on Saturday. Deceased * S2 years of age, and resided at Xt .ou North.
