The Imperial Agricultural Research i Conference at its last session decided to meet every live years. An invitation from the Commonwealth to hold the next meeting in Australia In 1932 was accepted. The Australian delegate. Mr. G. A Julius, paid a tribute to the extraordinarily effective work of the Empire Marketing Board. The Director-General of Agriculture for New Zealand. Dr. C. J. Reakes, concurred and said New Zealand had greatly benefited. The Canadian delegate, Mr. Grisdale. explained the striking results to animal nutrition which were obtained from the use of fish meal. He suggested that | Canada. Newfoundland. Australia and ! South Africa should co-operate in teste. The Under-Secretary of State for the ] Dominions. Mr. W. G. Ormsby-Gore, in i closing the conference on behalf of ! :he Secretary of State, Mr. L. S. I Amery, said the developments of the | activities of the Marketing Beard were wholly dependent upon the quantity and continuity of the supplies from the Dominions-—A. and N.Z.
