The search for the body of Tinatoka Kopani, the Maori boy who is presumed to have been drowned in a flooded stream near Tolaga 3ay, was continued during the week-end. Kopani’s saddle was found two chains down the river from the ford where he attempted to cross "he Manga tokerau Stream, and his overcoat was discovered further on near where the horse struggled out. There is as yet no sign of Kopani’s body, which may have been silted ever. The search is being continued.
