DOMINION CYCLIST TO FIDE IN DUNLOP GRAND PRIX

(Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Starting on November 14, the biggest cycle road race ever held in the Southern Hemisphere, and the longest race in the world with the exception of the Tour de France, the Dunlop Grand Prix of 685 miles, Melbourne to Wangaratta, to Bendigo, to Warrnambool, and back to Melbourne, will see a select field of 100 riders set off for a week on the road. It includes H. G. Watson, New Zealand road champion, who will be the only representative of the Dominion in the event. Watson will enter for the race tomorrow, and will leave for Australia by the next boat.
