AID FOR UNEMPLOYED “A Night in Hollywood” is the title given the grand “movie ball” in aid of the Mayor of Auckland’s unemployment fund, to be held in the Town Hall on Tuesday, October 18, under the direction of Valeska for the FullerHayward theatres. For the best representation of many well-known moving picture stars, cash prizes will be given. Music will be supplied by two orchestras, the Internationals and Walter Smith’s dance band.

A children’s dance and entertainment is to precede the “movie ball” from seven o’clock until half-past eight. Prizes will be given for the best representation by children of any “movie” star or character from fairy tales.
