THE CUP
STARTERS AND JOCKEYS There are 13 horses left in the Mitchelson Cup to-morow. and if the course rolls out in as good condition as during this week, then they are all expected to go to the post. Among them are this season’s winners in Te Kara, Mask. Tresham. Royal Mint and Delightment. but in the case of the last-named his success was achieved over a sprint distance, and that in itself is no great recommendation for a big mile and a-half handicap.
