MILITARY INSPECTION

MILITARY INSPECTION ROTORUA FORCES Major-General R. Young, Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces, accompanied by Colonel Commandant Potter, O.C. of Auckland District, and Lieut. V. Innes, N.Z.S.C., Adjutant of the Hauraki Regiment, arrived in Rotorua on Monday evening for the purposes of inspecting trainees. Yesterday he inspected the High School Cadets, a new unit formed since the inauguration of the District High School. In the everting he will inspect the local cadet company. This evening the territorials will be under his eagle eye. The territorials now form part of Headquarters wing of the Hauraki Regiment, being trained in the use of the Vickers gun.
