SPRINGDALE TENNIS CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING There was a representative attendance at the annual meeting of Springdale Tennis Club. Mr. E. Johansen presided. Offiaers elected for the year were: Patron, Mr. F. W. Walters; president, Mr. E. Johansen; vicepresidents, Messrs. G. A. Fish, C. R. Malcolm, J. H. Wills, W. S. Gooseman and A. Hunger, senr.; committee, Misses Fisk, Hunger, Hallen and Walters and Messrs. Bailey, D. Malcolm, Old, H. Wagstaff and Heaton; lion, secretaries, Miss D. Malcolm and Mr. C. Boyle; captain, Mr. L. Bailey: club delegates to Piako Tennis Association, Messrs. Bayley and Boyle. The official opening date was fixed for October 15. A Selection Committee of Mr. Bayley, Mr. H. Wagstaff and Misses Walters and Fisk was appointed.
