CURTAIN RUNG DOWN CITY DEFEATS OLD BOYS The Rugby football season practically terminated at Hamilton on Saturday, when City defeated Old Boys by a margin of six points in a good open exhibition for the final of the Clarke Cup. City opened the scoring when Christie snapped up the ball from the loose and shot it out to Hayward, who dashed over in the corner tor an unconverted try. Later Hume again crossed for City in the corner from a forward rush, but the major points were not added. Old Boys retaliated and near the end of he first spell Boneham. securing the bail from the ruck, threw it out to Brown for -he latter to cross successfully. Badeley converted.
