SEARCH FOR MISSING ACCOUNTANT Press Associat ->n. To-day. J)ETECT!VES and others have been searching for clues in connection with the disappearance of Lionel Comerford, accountant for Ward’s Brewery, who has not been heard of for some days by his family or friends. Yesterday afternoon a coat, since identified as belonging to Comerford, was found on the south bank of the Waimakiriri River, below the railway bridge. In the coat was a letter addressed to the manager of the brewery at which the missing man worked. A search of the river is being continued.
