WOULD-BE SUICIDE MUST GO DRY
RELATIVES’ RESPONSIBILITY Frank Charles Ashman, aged 22, who attempted to commit suicide on Grafton Bridge on Friday night, ' appeared for sentence at the Police Court to-day. Mr. J. J. Sullivan, who appeared for accused, said that liquor was his curse. The Magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt: Is there anybody to look after him? Mr. Sullivan: Yes, his mother will do that. Ashman was prohibited and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. “Tf anything happens, it is hss people’s fault,” added Mr. JHunL
