MISTAKEN IDENTITY

ON Thursday members of the Auckland Little Theatre Society played “The Old Lady Shows Her Medals,” at the Mental Hospital. Mrs. Maisie Carte Lloyd, who plays the part of one of the old ladies, was hurrying along a corridor in her make-up, ready to go on. An attendant at the hospital was quite indignant that one of the patients should be flitting about 4 the corridor, and said so in quite determined language. Mrs. Carte Lloyd says that this is the first time she has been so harshly misjudged. Still it was a wonderful tribute to her make-up.
