POINT-TO-POINT MEETING RACING AT PAPATOETOE (From Our Own Correspondent) „ PAPATOETOE, To-day. There was a splendid attendance of sportsmen at *'Beachlea Downs.”; Papatoetoe this afternoon, when the ranga Hunt Club's point-to-point meeting was held. Results: MEMBERS’ LIGHTWEIGHT About 3 miles (under 11.0) PADDY 1 ALL BLACK (A. McCorquindale .... 2 TAMAKI BOY (A. Bellingham) .... 3 Scr.: Molly, Master Sol, The Gunner, Whetuhine and Lady Chester. Won by a head, five lengths between second and third. Buckshee (Mauria Wright) fell at the second fence, and Praiseworthy ran off, throwing his rider, E. Kendall. MEMBERS' HEAVYWEIGHT About 3 miles (12.7) SALVABOY (Chris Allen) 1 LONG REIN (W. B. Lloyd) 2 These were the only two starters. Won by ten lengths. FARMERS' RACE About 3 miles (11.7) TAMAKI BOY (A. Bellingham) .... 1 HAUTURU (A. J. F. Walker) 2 MISS GLAD FIELD 3 Scr.: Edifice and Scotty. Won by nine lengths. The rest of the field was well strung out.
