The Customs authorities made a big haul of arms, including 100 revolvers and 10,000 cartridges, aboard the Dutch steamship Gemma, bound for the East Indies. They are believed to have been smuggled aboard by the Chinese stokers, on behalf of Communists. — A. and N.Z.
