SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL MEETING Archdeacon Chatterton presided over the annual general meeting of St. Luke’s Cricke't Club, a good number of members being present. The following officers were elected: President. Archdeacon Chatterton: vice-presidents. Messrs. J. Halkett, sen., A. De Luen, J. Hinton, sen., the Rev. Burley: secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. White; delegates to R.0.A., Messrs. J. Burton, J. Lewis and Garrard: committee, Messrs. Higgins. Hinton, Newmarch, Burton, Garrard, J. Lewis: captain and vice-captain to be selected at the first match. ‘ The report stated that the club had a successful season. playing nine, matches, winning seven and losing two. The club won the competition for the Harvey bat. It commences the season with a credit balance of £6.
