TRACKS AT ALEXANDRA PARK

JHE training circuit at Alexandra Park has become very hard again, following on the two fine days experienced, *nd the drying wind. It appears to be a case of the two extremes at Epsom, either mud hock deep or a hard, jarring surface. Fortunately the sand track is in good order, but this has been rendered so narrow by the -craping of the sand to the side and forming a barrier, that here is not much room for horses to work in company. The sooner the powers that be realise that owners and trainers are entitled to an occasional run on the outside of the grass track the better for all concerned.
