The successful Labour candidate stood for the twoissue ballot paper, and prohibitionists calculate that they will have 43 sure votes for the two-issue paper if the Bill comes down this session, with the possibility of another nine. * * * * terday's poll, the league has definitely decided that Mr. Daniel Stewart Reid M.P. for Waikato, will contest the Raglan seat at the next general election. Mr. A. M. Samuel, M.P. for Ohinemuri, will contest the Waikato seat. the Ohinemuri electorate will become non-existent witli the alteration in electoral boundaries.
