DAFFODIL GROWERS FORM ORGANISATION
Growers of the daffodil in Auckland met last evening and decided to form the Auckland Daffodil Circle. Mr. W. J. Wermham, chairman of the Auckland Horticultural Society, presided, and said that the formation of the circle would bring the growers together and serve to promote the cultivation of the flower. The following committee was elected: —Messrs. J. H. Braith waite, A. Grindrod, R. J. Thornton, W. H. Shepherd. N.' R. W. Thomas, R. G. Sharp, and R. W. Shepherd, secretary. Messrs. Grindrod, Braith waite and Thornton addressed those present on the cultivation of the daffodil*
