BRITISH UNEMPLOYED.—OfficiaI returns show a further reduction of 4,500 in the registered unemployed on September 19 as compared with the previous week. BREAK WITH RUSSIA. —Mr. Walter Citrine, general secretary of the Trades Union Congress, was asked whether any communication had been received from the All-Russian Council of Trades Unions with regard to the recent decision of the Trades Union Congress to discontinue co-operation with the Russian trade unions.
