COST OF COASTAL SURVEY
PROPOSAL DEFERRED WOULD TAKE 20 YEARS (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter WELLINGTON, Thursday. The naval authorities estimate that, with a properly equipped vessel, and specially trained personnel, the annual cost of making a fresh survey of the coasts oi New Zealand would be £50,000. The work would require 20 years to complete.
