Cauliflowers, falling off in supply, continue to harden in price. New season's potatoes, coming forward in bigger supplies, should see easier money within the next few weeks, though there is little appreciable change so far. Eggs are slightly easier, hen eggs selling from Is 6Jd to Is 7d a dozen and duck eggs from Is 5d to Is sid a dozen. Improved entries of both poultry and pigs are recorded, and the market for poultry continues firm, the demand being particularly keen for good quality young birds. For pigs, the market is easier, though the demand is still good.
