Mr. G. A. WILLIAMS. the Wellsford trainer, was a visiter to Alexandra Park yesturday morning, but only in the r>le of spectator. His quartette, Geld Dial, Bell Dial, Nellie Bramley, and the square-gaited figatiri are all in work at Wellsf>rd, but the latter will probably be the sole representative of the stable at the Auckland fixture. With the aid of the team G. A. W. reaped £1,095 in stakes last year. Gold Dial, who vion tho Taranaki Cup, being the chief contributor with £415.
