COASTAL MOVEMENTS—
The Torea is to be dispatched at 3 3 o’clock this afternoon for Mangapai, One Tree Point and Waipu. The Waipu, leaving for Kerepeehi at 2 o’clock this afternoon, returns again at 4 a.m. on Saturday. The Taniwha, scheduled to sail at midnight to-night for Paeroa, is expected to arrive back again at 6 o’clock on Saturday morning. The Claymore, sailing at 7 o’clock this evening for Whangarei, arrives back again at 7 o'clock on Saturday morning. The Omana, which was to leave at 1 o’clock this afternoon for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana, should arrive back again at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Rangitoto, which was to have arrived at 1 o’clock this afternoon from Thames, is scheduled to sail again at 4.30 p.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Hauiti, due from Kopu and Turua at half past three this afternoon, sails again at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Coromandel. The Apanui, due at 7 o’clock this evening from the Great Barrier, sails again at noon to-morrow for Totara North, Houhora, Kaimaumau, and Parenga. The Kawau, due from Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha at half past four this afternoon, sails again at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. The Clansman, arrivng from Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui at half past seven to-morrow morning, sails again at 5 p.m. on Monday on the return trip. The Matangi, due from Tauranga at 7 a.m. to-morrow, sails again at 7 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ steamer, Tiroa, due from the coast during the week-end sails again on Monday on the return trip to Hick’s Bay and Gisborne. The Mako is expected at Auckland on Monday from the East Coast. She is to be dispatched again on Tuesday for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa. The Awahou, arriving from Gisborne on Monday, sails again at 5 p.m. on Tuesday for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. The Elsie Mary is to leave Gisborne to-day for Auckland. The Mahurangi arrived last night from Portland. The Herekino arrived this morning from Portland. The Waimea leaves Napier to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due on Sunday. She sails next Tuesday on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Kanna from Greymouth leaves Westport to-day for Wellington, Napier, and Auckland. The West Islip arrived at Bluff this morning from Dunedin and should leave on Saturday for New Plymouth to complete her discharge. The Sussex sails from Dunedin to-day for Bluff thence Newcastle, where she loads coal for Java. The Kaitangata from Greymouth and Westport arrived at Napier roadstead last night, but owing to the heavy weather was unable to berth. It is expected she will leave to-morrow for Auckland an(4 is due here on Sunday. The Wingatui is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow from Southern ports, and, after discharging, loads here and sails on Monday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Kamona came out of dock this morning and went alongside King’s Wharf to complete her overhaul. The Kurow, which left here yesterday for Portland to load cement for Wellington, Lyttelton and Bluff, is expected to get; away to-morrow. The Kaimanawa is to load at Westport to-morrow for Auckland and is due here early next week. The Waipiata is to load at Dunedin tomorrow thence Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington for Auckland. The City of Batavia should leave Lyttelton to-day for Dunedin and Tasmanian ports, to complete her discharge. The Epsom, now at the Bluff, is expected to arrive at Auckland toward the end of next week. The Kent sails from Lyttelton on Saturday for Dunedin and New Plymouth, to land the balance of her Liverpool cargo. The Somerset leaves Dunedin to-day for Bluff to put out the remainder of her Liverpool cargo. The Persian Prince sails from Port Chalmers to-morrow or Saturday for Westport for bunkers.
