Speaking at Waiuku last evening the Prime Minister—who is also Minister of Railways—referred to the arrangjnneni s made for their return. HA stated that the train would also fcnvjy the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. 11. E. Holland, who would join it at H jntiy, Mr. W. A. Veitch, who would join at Pukekohe, and other members of various parties who had been participating in the campaign. That arrangement would enable all members to return .to Wellington in time for to-day’s business in the Bouse. Mr. Coates also informed the meeting that the train would contain only one sleeper in addition to the Ministerial car. He said that it would not interfere wttli the sleeping accommodation on the ordinary expresses. A statement made by the Liberal Party that the* Prime Minister was being driven around the electorate in the Raglan county motor-car was reby Mr. Coates, who read a telegram received from Mr. Campbell Johnstone, chairman of the Raglan County Council, in which the allegation wan ilenied. Mr. Johnstone stated that the car belonged to him, and it was his privilege to use it as he liked.
