OTAHUHU FORESTERS

SOCIAL EVENING The Otahuliu branch of the Foresters’ Lodge held a very enjoyable card tournament and dance in the Gas Company’s room on Tuesday night. There was a good attendance and ali present thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Cards and dancing were indulged in, the music for the latter being supplied by Miss West (piano) and Mr. O. Deverell (violin). In the card tournament Mrs. Lochart secured first prize, and Mrs. T. Stewart the second, and for the men Mr. W. Lochart secured first place and Mr. Lochart, senr., second. The consolation prize fell to Mr. I. Carter. A very enjoyable supper was served by the members, and was much appreciated by all.
