CRICKET CLUB MEETING There was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting: of the Whangarei Y.M.C.A. Cricket Club, on Tuesday evening. Officers elected for the coming year were as iollows: —President, Mr. G. Cliff; vicr-j; residents, Messrs. C. F. Collins, W. H. Cole and E. A. Bates; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Collins (re-elected). Tlie captain will be elected on the field. It was decided to enter one team for the Whangarei Cricket Association's Saturday competition. All members of the team will be requested to become members of the Y.M.C.A. The first practice was fixed for Wednesday, October 5.
