TWENTY TONS A DAY

TE AWAMUTU BUTTER The Te Awamutu butter factory of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company made over a ton more butter on Tuesday last than it did the previous day. It is understood the daily output is now over 14 tons, and taken in conjunction with the Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company’s output gives a total for the district of over 20 tons daily. There are also two cheese factories operating within a few miles of the town, and milk powder is also made in considerable quantities in Te Awamutu. The daily production from this district exceeds € 500 worth.
