FAREWELL SOCIAL

POPULAR HONIKIWI SETTLERS A farewell social was tendered to Mr. and Mrs. B. Budden, by tlie settlers of the Honikiwi district, who presented them with a valuable .’liver tea service, in recognition of Mr. Budden’s many public services, extending over a period of 24 years. Mr. Budden has been an active member of the Waitorno and Otorohonga County Councils, and also chairman for a number of years of the Otorolianga branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union. Mr. Budden and family have left the King Country to reside near Waitara.
