Smith, asking if the claims re loans, etc., in the new area had been settled with One Tree Hill Road Board; also that the board be asked to render a statement concerning the loan of £ 5.500, and to refund all rates paid on the loan, and the cost of all water supplied by the council from 1920 to 1927 be refunded to new area ratepayers by the board. After brief discussion the town clerk was instructed to draw up a circular setting out the adjustments arrived at with the road board and send a copy of the same to each ratepayer in the new area, with the special rate demands, _
